Controller (Belgium)

To support further growth, the dynamic finance team is looking for a Controller. You will get to know our exciting business activities as well as those of our more than 30 subsidiaries worldwide. This offers you the opportunity to expand your expertise. 

Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for monthly consolidation and intercompany reconciliation.
  • You build strong relationships with colleagues in our subsidiaries and work with them to obtain accurate financial data.
  • You ensure the completeness and reliability of reported data of our subsidiaries.
  • You are co-responsible for the preparation of audits.
  • You work on ad hoc questions and projects.
  • You maintain Excel reports.
  • You work closely with and report to Katja, Head of Financial Controlling.

What do we expect from you? 

  • A degree in higher education in an economic field.
  • A solid knowledge and experience in consolidation and accounting and a willingness to learn.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and critical thinking skills.
  • Extensive experience with Excel, including functions such as SUMIF and VLOOKUP.
  • Knowledge of or experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Fluent command of Dutch and English, both oral and written.
