The future growth of our company lies in the development, marketing, and sales of biopesticides. Our newly established BioWorks division will focus on biopesticides in horticulture globally. To support this expansion, we are strengthening the Division with a Project Manager.

The job

You will be responsible for managing global projects. You will lead these projects as a project manager and ensure the successful and timely delivery of projects in line with the BioWorks ambition and strategy. The product portfolio and pipeline consist of a healthy balance of short/mid-term and long-term projects in various stages, ranging from early product development to market launch.

Your responsibilities

  • You are the project lead for the main global projects in the BioWorks Division pipeline. You ensure timely and accurate execution and drive potential adjustments of these projects. You are committed to havea harmonious collaboration across all the different dimensions of these complex, international projects.
  • You collaborate with various project teams representing all functions, from supply chain to registration to business development. You ensure clear alignment and task assignment within this team.
  • You report to the Business Development & Alliances Manager at the divisional level.

Setting up and implementing project management tools, processes, and methodologies are also part of your responsibility. You implement an adequate structure and quality standards for all your projects.This translates into clear reporting and dashboards, which you update regularly and which also allows for project comparison and prioritization.

  • You organize regular project meetings where you present the project status to stakeholders and capture decisions and actions taken.
  • You also manage the budgets associated with these projects, regularly monitoring the current committed cost status and payment status versus the allocated budget. You report this status to the project team and the Business Development & Alliances Lead.
  • You proactively monitor risks and the impact of shifts on the project's milestones and objectives. You propose and implement measures to mitigate these risks together with the project team.
  • You ensure the creation and availability of project information and documentation.

What do we expect from you?

  • Master degree in Biosciences, Biology, or Bioengineering.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with Sharepoint and/or other Project Management Toolsl, is a significant asset.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong in planning and organizing multiple projects simultaneously. You always maintain a helicopter view while understanding and following the important details and risks of each project.
  • Excellent communicator and strong team player.
  • Multi-tasker, strong and efficient in time management.
  • Persistent with an optimistic attitude, can-do mentality, proactive and agile execution.
  • Pragmatic with a strong problem-solving, efficient and results-oriented mindset.
