Business Analyst SAP (Belgium)

This brings with it a few special challenges. Our living products require precision and constant care during the cultivation process, as quality and vitality directly impact customer value. Each region has specific needs and regulations, which requires a flexible and local approach in our supply chain. The transport of living organisms also requires specific modalities and strict control, such as temperature regulation and fast delivery times, to guarantee that our products arrive in optimal condition.
At Biobest, we are looking for a communicatively strong and analytically skilled Business Analyst SAP. In this role, you will be the link between our unique production processes and ERP systems for the facility in Westerlo. As a result, you help make our organization more efficient, innovative and future proof.
Your mission
As a Business Analyst SAP, you play a key role in improving our processes and solving complex challenges. You ensure that our production and ERP systems fit together perfectly, so that our living products can move from our production facility to the customer worldwide with the best guarantee of the demanded quality and a punctual delivery.
Your responsibilities
- You are the point of contact for functional SAP analysts and translate production and supply chain needs into clear analyses and specifications for our SAP applications. You analyse production and supply chain processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements that seamlessly integrate systems and processes.
- You collaborate with functional analysts and ensure optimal collaboration between business and IT. Your pragmatic approach ensures solutions that really work.
- Thanks to your knowledge of the local production & supply chain processes, you can manage improvement projects, know exactly where the priorities lie and monitor the progress of important initiatives.
- You support key users in drawing up work instructions and share your SAP knowledge to strengthen them.
- You offer support with complex issues and work with a solution-oriented and hands-on approach.
Your profile
- You enjoy mapping processes using process mapping tools. You excel at making processes more efficient, with attention to both functional and technical details.
- Experience as a key user or in a similar role, with a good understanding of how SAP supports the business. Master data, BOMs, inventory management, planning processes, etc. are not unprecedented terms and processes. You quickly understand problems and translate them into practical solutions.
- You know how to convey complex information clearly and connect stakeholders.
- Creativity and innovation are in your DNA.
- You switch effortlessly between different levels within the organization and work well with various teams.
