Our European business, including Europe, North Africa and Middle East, has a team of around 15 employees and is growing rapidly. In view of all the opportunities BioWorks has as a relatively new player in the European market, we are strengthening our BioWorks regulatory team with an experienced Regulatory Manager.
Your mission
As Regulatory Manager Biopesticides, you are responsible for managing various regulatory dossiers including biopesticides, biostimulants and biofertilisers. Your priority region will be EU but also North Africa, central Asian countries and Middle East can be part of your responsibilities.
You prepare strategies, calculate cost as part of a business case, obtain quotations, and manage the various phys-chem, tox, ecotoxand potentially efficacy requirements, for the subsequent Active Substance and Product Registrations that are expected as outputs. You liaise closely with all stakeholders involved to ensure that the GAP table and product label are coherent with customer needs.
Key responsibilities
- You design and execute the regulatory strategy of the BioWorks’ active substance and product portfolio and pipeline yourself and/or in collaboration with external consultants.
- Your target region is EU but also North Africa, Central Asian countries and/or Middle East countries depending on your expertise. .
- You align and collaborate with the R&D and marketing team to ensure that the product GAP table and user indications is in line with our customer needs.
- You support the marketing team with costings and timelines for the preparation of business cases.
- You assist with regulatory processes such as EUPs and emergency exemptions.
What do we expect from you?
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in EU regulatory frameworks for biopesticides, biostimulants and/or biofertilisers
- Experience in North Africa and Central Asian and Middle East countries is an important plus.
- Hands-on ability to handle regulatory dossiers directly yourself and/or in collaboration with consultants.
- Smart problem solver with an agile and positive mindset
