Biobest to take full ownership of its production entity in Morocco

Westerlo, Belgium, 11 September 2026

BioFirst Group today announces that its division Biobest has reached an agreement to acquire full ownership of its biological control agents production entity in Morocco. Biobest will increase its shareholding in the production company from 50% to 100%. The transaction is subject to approval by the Moroccan competition authority (Conseil de la Concurrence).

The step builds on Biobest's long-standing presence in the region and marks an important milestone in the development of its activities in Morocco. Biobest takes sole control of the production entity — Biobest Maroc S.A.R.L, located in the Chtouka-Aït Baha region near Agadir, where beneficial insects for biological crop protection are produced. The Moroccan commercial entity will continue to operate unchanged.
